I wrote a small webpage that generates a rather unsecure password that meets the minimum password requirements many services have. The generated password contains a single number, a single special character and a single uppercase letter; with the rest being lowercase. The block of these 'extra' characters are either in the beginning or the end of the password to make typing it easier.

But why?

Some devices like TVs, game consoles or fridges make you create an account in order to download apps or access their services otherwise. Entering a long complicated password on a TV remote or on your fridge can be quite cumbersome. This is why I came up with this little tool. This should obviously only be used for accounts that don't need to be super secure.

For other purposes I use the generator in my password manager bitwarden.
